The Department of Tourism Management started its activities with 52 students in the 2016-2017 academic year. Our faculty has been continuing its educational activities in the Tuzlu-Orhanlı Campus of our university since 2019.
In Tourism Management Department besides theoretical courses, there are courses including practical training for the sector, and an intensive foreign language education including professional English is given to our students in the lesson plans. In addition to English, foreign language education in German, Russian and Arabic is also offered optionally.
Tourism Management Department students graduate as manager candidates who can work as middle and senior managers in tourism enterprises. In addition, students who graduate from the department can work in public institutions and organizations related to tourism development such as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Provincial Directorates of Culture and Tourism. In addition, students with high school success have the opportunity to make an academic career, and students with capital to become entrepreneurs.
